📋 Description
• Lead ElevenLabs engagement with government bodies and officials across Colombia, focusing on AI governance, safety, copyright, privacy, transparency, data protection, competition, and digital rights • Build and maintain relationships with policymakers, regulators, industry associations, and civil society groups • Monitor, analyze, and advise on emerging regulations impacting the company • Represent ElevenLabs at conferences and industry events • Support internal policy development by Legal, Safety, Security, and other teams • Provide strategic counsel to company leadership on regional policy trends and business implications • Promote government adoption of ElevenLabs products and services with the GTM team • Define and implement policy campaigns and impact initiatives • Report to the LATAM Regional Lead
🎯 Requirements
• 8+ years' experience in public and private sector policy roles, in-house or at a firm, focused on AI and technology • Strong knowledge of the regional AI policy landscape • Knowledge of AI governance, safety, copyright, privacy, transparency, data protection, competition, and digital rights • Demonstrated success designing, advocating for, and influencing policy outcomes • Coalition-building experience • Public policy experience across Colombia • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including briefing government officials and policymakers • Fluency in English and Spanish • Interest in AI and emerging technologies • Ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced startup environment • Ability to work independently and handle ambiguity • Proactive, solution-oriented approach
