Description

• An Account Manager is responsible for customer relationship management aligned to a sales territory. Proactively monitors client accounts and anticipates customer needs and identifies potential issues. Owns issue resolution for complex scenarios escalated by support teams or proactively identified through data analysis. Analyze customer data & metrics to assess account performance and manage risk. • Manage accounts in portfolio by representing Greenshades externally with clients and internally by working with supporting positions. Develop a thorough understanding of the clients’ position in the market, their product/service, points of difference and competitive landscape. Manage client input and feedback for all projects with detailed direction and timelines in project plans. Manage day-to-day client communication and ongoing relationships as it relates to current, new and upcoming issues. As necessary, visit clients, attend trade shows and other industry events to capitalize on networking and relationship-building opportunities. Proactively remain connected to clients and the ever-changing market to access new search opportunities and ensure all viable clients are engaged on a regular and effective basis. Read and create reports to detect early warning indicators of dissatisfaction or churn risk. Serve as a primary point of contact for clients experiencing dissatisfaction, demonstrating exceptional interpersonal skills to de-escalate tense situations and address concerns effectively. Communicate with clients in strict adherence to our Service Level Commitments (SLCs), ensuring that all interactions meet established standards for responsiveness, professionalism, and accuracy. Perform other duties as requested by your supervisor.

Requirements

• College Degree, Payroll Certification or equivalent work experience. 1-2 years experience with project management or account management. Knowledge of payroll processes, tax regulations, and compliance requirements is preferred. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships. Ability to work independently and manage personal time, keeping deliverables and deadlines top of mind. Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities. Ability to understand, break down, and translate complex customer business needs.
