Description

• Manage and coordinate the process of closing the monthly general ledger for relevant areas, including the preparation of account reconciliations, consolidated reporting and flux analyses. • Prepare and consolidate monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements for distribution to managers throughout the company, including the reporting package reviewed by the officers. • Analyze financial transactions for appropriate GAAP compliance. • Maintains appropriate accounting controls, as well as develops and implements new internal controls and accounting policies, where appropriate, to ensure adherence to and understanding of accounting policies. • Identify and implement opportunities to improve and automate processes, ensuring financial data integrity and solid accounting controls. • Own and manage ad hoc project requests and teams; motivate and drive project teams forward while providing support and gaining buy-in from Senior Management. • Manage, direct and develop accounting staff; including hiring, performance management, development, and training staff in all departmental processes and procedures to ensure employees meet goals and expectations. • Work closely with external auditors on financial audits. • Assist in gathering information and review of annual tax provision and tax returns prepared by third party consultants. • Partner cross-functionally with the business to ensure operational efficiency of processes and accuracy of financials.

Requirements

• 5-8 years of accounting experience • Public accounting firm and private industry experience, foundational training in an audit role • Experience in the SaaS/software industry and knowledge of industry specific standards • CPA Required • Not meeting all the requirements but still feel like you’d be a great fit?
