• Direct and control IT project activities, establishing clear goals that align with the program's objectives • Plan and lead major technology assignments, evaluating performance results, and recommending changes affecting short-term project growth and success • Function as a technical expert across multiple project assignments, fostering innovation and originality in solving complex problems • Engage in negotiations and interface with senior management and clients, effectively communicating complex technical concepts and project strategies • Oversee financial management, methods, and staffing for technology assignments, ensuring resources are allocated efficiently and projects are delivered within budget constraints • Conduct thorough risk analysis for project initiatives, developing and implementing robust mitigation strategies to address potential challenges and ensure project continuity • Lead and mentor project teams, promoting a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement
• Advanced degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field, with professional certifications in project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) highly regarded • At least 10+ years of progressive experience in IT project management, including significant experience in managing large-scale, complex IT projects • Demonstrated expertise in strategic planning, project management methodologies, and leading-edge IT technologies • Exceptional leadership skills, with a proven ability to motivate, guide, and manage high-performing teams • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, capable of identifying and addressing complex project challenges • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with a track record of successful stakeholder engagement and management at all organizational levels • Deep understanding of the Clean Energy Security Program and the Inflation Reduction Act, with the ability to align IT project initiatives with legislative requirements and objectives • Availability to travel as needed for project requirements and stakeholder meetings • Candidates must be eligible to obtain or currently hold the necessary security clearances required for the project • US citizenship is required
• Remote position • Candidates can work during Eastern Time Zone office hours • Residency in the United States is a mandatory requirement
