Description

• Manage and oversee the client's financial operations, including audits, taxation, accounting, bookkeeping, and payroll. • Coordinate and manage external audits, liaising with auditors and providing necessary documentation and information. • Ensure compliance with US taxation laws and regulations, including the timely filing of tax returns and payments. • Handle accounts receivable (AR) and accounts payable (AP) processes, including invoicing, collections, payments, and reconciliation. • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and documentation, utilizing accounting software such as QuickBooks. • Analyze financial data and trends to provide insights and recommendations for improving financial performance and efficiency. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business initiatives and strategic objectives. • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior accounting staff, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment. • Support client onboarding process for all assigned client engagements in accordance with the defined process. • Engage in client acquisition and retention initiatives, always providing the highest level of customer service. • Organize and update financial records as needed (digital and physical). • Prepare year-end audit schedules and support the process as necessary. • Assist, as necessary, in documenting, designing, and testing processes and procedures affecting the financial statements or financial performance of the company. • Assist in systems and spreadsheet automation to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of accounting functions and processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or related; Master's degree is a plus. • CPA Certificate is required. • Minimum 3 years of professional experience in full-cycle accounting and tax. Experience in Public Accounting is preferred. • International Tax Law knowledge is a PLUS • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook • Experience with QuickBooks and/or other accounting software • Experience with UltraTax and/or other tax preparation software • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Must be dependable, able to work independently, and stay on task • Positive and team player personality • Strong attention to meticulous details • High perseverance and end-result-oriented work habits • Fast learner, ability to master new concepts quickly
