• Sales Director, Payer Sales, will play a pivotal role in MedeAnalytics’ go-to-market team, significantly contributing to our strategic growth plans to further penetrate the healthcare payer marketplace across North America. This candidate will be expected to develop meaningful and productive relationships with both internal colleagues and a wide array of leaders at healthcare payer organizations across the assigned territory. The individual must be a highly motivated, experienced healthcare IT sales professional with the proven ability to consult, solve and sell SaaS technology & capabilities to healthcare payers.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, MBA preferred • 7+ years of experience in consultative selling of SaaS-based technology & capabilities to the healthcare payer market • Strong domain expertise in areas such as value-based care (VBC), population health, HEDIS/Quality, network optimization, Accountable Care Organizations (ACOs), Managed Care Organizations (MCOs), Medicaid, Medicare, care management, provider contracting, etc. • Strong understanding of technology such as data activation, data fabric, public cloud, interoperability, etc. • Experience working with data and visualization/analytics solutions (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a significant plus • Ability to consult on and then construct innovative capability-based (vs. product-based) deals • Experience selling technology-based consulting engagements is a plus • Track record of exceeding a multi-million-dollar annual sales quota • Demonstrated sales track record in highly competitive environments with the ability to identify and prospect new logo opportunities, successfully navigate complex buying processes (including RFP responses), negotiate and close contracts • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • High motivation, a desire to win, and a desire to work for a winning organization • Adaptable to change in a fast-growing company • Passionate about healthcare
