Description

• Provide technical support and solutions to sales team and customers from pre-sale through installation and implementation. • Analyze customer requirements and illustrate how company solutions can provide value and support their organization. • Configure technical solutions for customers and ensure successful customer integration. • Answer client questions on product functionality and usage and solve sales support problems. • Establish Rittal as the default provider for cabinets, climate control and IT products at the engineering firm. • Develop a process to maintain open projects. • Maintain an active, accurate database of all contacts at targeted engineering firms. • Communication market trends/requirements to product management. • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• 4-year Degree in Engineering, Mechanical or Industrial studies or equivalent experience required. • Strong Engineering background is required – (Electrical or Mechanical). • Previous experience working at an Engineering firm is preferred. • Possess an aptitude for sales, including the skills and ability to sell. • Ability to create drawings and product cuts, proficient with CAD. • Prior experience as an Applications Engineer, Software engineer, or as a Hardware Design Engineer. • Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. • Experience utilizing Customer Relationship Management tools is preferred.
