📋 Description

• Coordinate and schedule primary and revision hip and knee joint replacement surgeries across ASCs and partner hospitals according to surgeon preferences and block time • Schedule pre-operative clearance appointments, lab work, imaging, and post-operative follow-up visits • Compile, verify, and submit surgical packets containing clinical notes, insurance prior authorizations, H&Ps, and consent forms • Answer incoming calls via Sangoma as the practice's main-line contact • Address patient questions about hip and knee surgeries, pre-op instructions, recovery expectations, and surgical logistics • Follow up with patients to ensure medical clearances and pre-surgical lab work are completed before surgery • Maintain surgical logs, patient tracking sheets, and practice metrics in Microsoft Excel • Maintain chart entries, scheduling updates, and patient communications in eClinicalWorks • Assist with incoming e-faxes, insurance verification coordination, physician schedule adjustments, and general practice communications

🎯 Requirements

• Registered Nurse (RN) or Medical Doctor (MD) background required • Proven experience scheduling surgeries; orthopedic joint replacement / hip and knee experience preferred • Flawless, clear, professional spoken English with neutral pronunciation • Extensive experience handling inbound U.S. patient phone calls • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data management, tracking, sorting, and formulas • Hands-on experience with EMR systems; eClinicalWorks experience preferred • Dedicated, quiet, HIPAA-compliant home office workspace • Reliable high-speed internet and power backup systems • Availability for full-time work, 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM MST
