• In this role, you will be a vital team member supporting the financial and people operations processes of Stocktwits. Your responsibilities will revolve around assisting the accounting department with various tasks and ensuring accurate and efficient financial record-keeping. • What You’ll Do • Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable - Maintain financial records by accurately recording financial transactions, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments. - Process and verify invoices, ensuring they are accurate and properly coded, and prepare payments to vendors. - Manage customer billing, issuing invoices, and monitoring receivables to ensure timely payments. - Maintain strict confidentiality of the company’s financial data and performance. - Support annual tax and audit requests. - Payroll Processing • People / HR Generalist - Support the full talent acquisition lifecycle as needed, including sourcing, setting up and conducting interviews. - Execute global onboarding and offboarding processes to ensure a consistent and positive experience for team members. - Maintaining benefit vendor relationships and resolving employee benefit issues. - Take on the Annual Open Enrollment process from vendor procurement to onboarding. - Plan, coordinate and execute company events. - Provide effective first line support to team members and managers on various People & Culture topics.
• 1+ year of professional experience in accounting and/or finance and 2+ years of professional HR or people operations experience • Familiarity with accounting principles and practices. • Proficiency with Quickbooks. • Strong working knowledge of Excel. • Proficient analytical, decision-making and problem-solving skills. • Attention to detail. • Proficient in English with strong written and verbal communication skills (grammar & syntax). • Team player; Comfortable asking for help when needed. • Organizational and project management skills with a demonstrated ability to balance numerous projects while meeting tight deadlines. • Effective interpersonal skills, particularly in building relationships and working collaboratively both internally and externally.
