• Lead activities to identify, facilitate, establish, develop, and close opportunities to create and grow business partnerships with pharmaceutical, biotechnology, other related companies, and academic institutes in the implementation of Twist’s Synthetic Biology and Variant Library technologies. • Responsible for delivering revenue and driving growth in their territory for Twist Bioscience Synthetic Biology and Variant Library products. • Delivering accurate revenue forecasts throughout the fiscal year. • Maintain knowledge of competitor products and their commercial strategies, identifying and escalating their activities in a time-bound manner. • Provide customer feedback on Twist Bioscience products. • Identify unmet customer needs that will enable the development of new and innovative products. • Generate, drive, and secure a continuous deal flow of library/ synthetic biology sales and antibody and drug development solution contracts. • Prospect and generate leads of potential customers, collaborators, and partners that will generate revenues from Synthetic Biology and Variant Libraries. • Solicit and pitch Twist capabilities and offerings to strategically important potential new collaborators and partners. • Develop and manage key relationships with new and existing customers. • Create market research to identify potential customers, collaborators, and partnerships. • Develop and maintain a roadmap of all potential customers, collaborators, and partnerships. • Attain quarterly and annual revenue targets established from annual commission plans. • Deliver accurate and timely forecasts for their territory. • Develop contingency and risk mitigation plans for their region as necessary. • Maintain CRM database with up-to-date information. • Represent the company at relevant tradeshows. • Maintain and raise awareness of the competitive landscape, provide customer feedback and introduce new product ideas to internal partners. • Additional duties as assigned.
• Bachelor's degree (B.A./B.S) in Biology or a similar field. • Proven track record of delivering financial targets on a quarterly and annual basis. • At least 2-5 years of experience in selling life science reagents and solutions. • Knowledge of synthetic biology products and markets is preferred. • Business-to-business experience preferred, in particular, selling to pharma, chemical and/or Agbio organizations. • Demonstrated technical knowledge of synthetic biology applications utilizing synthetic genes, pathways and organisms a necessity. • Salesforce experience required. • Must be willing to travel.
