• As the technical implementation expert, you own all the technical aspects of the sale • Communicate product features and benefits in pre and post sales situations to potential customers • Develop and present branded, custom technical demos that showcase specific features that show how VGS can help prospective customers meet their business objectives • Conduct assessments of customer's requirements and define and architect VGS solutions to meet the needs of their business • Design solution built on VGS capabilities to meet prospect business and technical requirements • Work with prospective customer developers to implement proof-of-concepts integrating VGS and third-party components • Lead technical responses for RFI’s and RFP’s • Represent VGS at industry-specific trade shows acting as the technical voice of the company • Effectively channel product feedback and enhancement requests to Product Manager and Engineering stakeholders
• Minimum of 3 years of customer-facing experience as a software engineer, solutions architect, or sales engineer in a data, security or SaaS product company • Experienced in web services, APIs, full-stack development and able to understand how a wide variety of technologies and systems interact with each other • Is comfortable writing production-ready code on top of VGS’s primary deployment languages - Python, JavaScript, Java, or Ruby • Great communicator, comfortable explaining complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences • Strong collaboration, interpersonal, negotiation and prioritization skills • Technical certifications such as CISSP or AWS Solutions Architect is preferred • Sales experience is preferred • Understanding and experience working in payments ecosystem is preferred
