📋 Description

• Serve as the main liaison with software vendors for systems used by a line of business • Monitor vendor software changes and enhancements and assess their business impact • Design solutions with the line of business to incorporate software changes • Coordinate with business partners to ensure effective implementation • Understand the business technology roadmap and recommend continued use or elimination of third-party software • Collaborate with product owners to clarify agile user stories when applicable • Implement and maintain new features and capabilities • Improve the quality of technical products and services • Follow and communicate industry and organizational best practices • Automate processes to achieve operational excellence • Create maintainable, supportable and testable solutions • Track technology trends and innovations • Provide operational support and troubleshoot team products and services • Coach, mentor and train less experienced team members • Identify, assess, manage, monitor and report risks while operating within the Bank’s risk appetite

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technology field or equivalent combination of education and work experience • Ten+ years of engineering or other IT work experience relevant to the position • Outstanding problem-solving and communication skills • Willingness to work in a highly collaborative environment • Significant experience with modern software development practices, tools and/or hardware technologies • Deep understanding of IT security best practices • Expertise in one or more relevant technical and/or functional domains • Experience designing, implementing and supporting complex technical solutions • Technical skills specific to the position’s requirements • Ability to coach and guide other individuals
