📋 Description

• Build and support critical data pathways powering the business • Connect legacy batch systems with modern cloud infrastructure • Manage high-volume file transfers • Automate complex job workflows • Build custom integrations • Design systems proactively and provide hands-on production support for 24/7 reliability • Maintain version control using Git and deploy code packages through automated CI/CD pipelines such as GitHub Actions/Workflows • Configure, test, and onboard SFTP, FTPS, and HTTPS file transfer protocols • Architect and manage secure external file exchanges with third-party vendors and financial institutions • Build, optimize, and maintain complex multi-step batch schedules in Control-M • Use Control-D to generate, format, and securely distribute automated system reports • Maintain AWS resources including EC2, S3, Lambda, and VPC networks • Write Terraform Infrastructure as Code templates to automate deployments • Monitor cloud performance, track resource utilization, and optimize configurations to reduce costs • Implement AWS IAM roles and security policies enforcing least-privilege data access • Serve as primary escalation point for complex system outages and data pipeline failures • Diagnose and resolve data transmission errors across MFT platforms • Troubleshoot batch job failures in Control-M and analyze historical data in Control-D • Participate in a rotating 24/7 on-call schedule • Perform root cause analysis to prevent recurring infrastructure, cloud, and data delivery incidents

🎯 Requirements

• Applicants must reside in the United States in one of the 50 States or the District of Columbia • Proof of US citizenship required at time of hire • Minimum 5+ years of experience in system integration, production support, or DevOps roles • Experience with programming in Python, PowerShell/.NET • Ability to clearly explain technical issues to both business teams and software developers • Analytical mindset to isolate root causes in interconnected, multi-platform environments • Must have work authorization that does not now or in the future require visa sponsorship • Successful completion of a background check consistent with Alight’s employment policies • Virtual interviews must be conducted on video
