📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications, customizations, and extensions within TeamConnect and related enterprise platforms • Build, support, and enhance integrations between TeamConnect and external enterprise systems using RESTful APIs, messaging, and event-driven patterns • Develop and maintain backend services and microservices using Java and Spring/Spring Boot • Create and enhance frontend components using React JS • Write and optimize SQL Server queries and stored procedures for application functionality, reporting, and data integrity • Support Kafka event-driven integrations, including producer/consumer implementations and message processing • Contribute to AI-enabled features, AI/ML or Generative AI integrations, data pipelines, MLOps orchestration, and responsible AI practices • Participate in design and architectural discussions and partially own technical solutions • Monitor, operate, and continuously improve applications and integrations in an agile environment • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, architects, senior stakeholders, and external vendors • Support non-technical users and translate business needs into technical solutions • Mentor developers, conduct code reviews, and lead technical initiatives • Troubleshoot complex functional and technical issues across applications, integrations, and data layers

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years of hands-on experience as a Full Stack Developer in a fast-paced agile environment • Strong proficiency in Java and Spring Boot for scalable enterprise-grade backend microservices • Experience building and supporting highly available and performant backend services • Strong experience with React, component-based architecture, and state management • Hands-on experience integrating frontend applications with RESTful APIs • Ability to design, build, and consume RESTful APIs • Understanding of system integrations, data flows, and enterprise application architecture • Experience integrating SaaS platforms with external enterprise systems • Experience configuring enterprise SaaS platforms, including workflows, business rules, templates, and security roles • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and external vendors • Strong communication skills for supporting non-technical users and translating business needs into technical solutions • Exposure to AI-enabled features and AI/ML or Generative AI services • Familiarity with AI data pipelines, MLOps concepts, and AI pipeline orchestration • Awareness of responsible AI practices and security, governance, privacy, and compliance standards • Experience with Java, Spring Boot, Java Spring, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, React, and UI/UX principles • Ability to lead technical discussions with architects, vendors, and senior stakeholders • Experience mentoring developers, conducting code reviews, and leading technical initiatives • Experience with database integration and relational and NoSQL databases, including DocumentDB and MongoDB • Proven success working with Legal, Finance, IT, and external vendors • Successful completion of a background investigation • Must be authorized to work in the United States; Allstate generally does not sponsor employment-based visas
