📋 Description

• Lead a portfolio of diverse technology projects and a team of developers with deep experience in distributed microservices and full stack systems • Create solutions that help meet regulatory needs for the company • Stay on top of technology trends, experiment with and learn new technologies • Participate in internal and external technology communities • Mentor other members of the engineering community • Collaborate with digital product managers • Deliver robust cloud-based solutions that drive powerful experiences for millions of Americans • Utilize JavaScript, Java, HTML/CSS, TypeScript, SQL, Python, Go, open source RDBMS and NoSQL databases, Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS tools and services

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree • At least 4 years of experience in software engineering; internship experience does not apply • At least 1 year of experience with cloud computing, including AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud • Preferred: Master’s Degree • Preferred: 7+ years of experience in JavaScript, Java, TypeScript, SQL, Python, Node.JS, or Go • Preferred: 3+ years of experience with AWS, GCP, Microsoft Azure, or another cloud service • Preferred: 4+ years of experience in open source frameworks • Preferred: 1+ years of people management experience • Preferred: 2+ years of experience in Agile practices • Experience leveraging interactive AI tooling beyond basic code completion • Capital One will not sponsor a new applicant for employment authorization or provide immigration-related support for this position
