📋 Description

• Lead technical engagements and direction for assigned Federal Civilian agencies • Partner with Sales Account Executives to solve customers’ demanding business and technology challenges • Propose technology solutions that meet customer needs and support quota attainment • Drive customer success through successful engagements, solution adoption, and maximum use of Cisco products and solutions • Manage dynamic internal and external demands using strong time-management skills • Build proficiency across Routing, Switching, Security, Data Center, and Collaboration technologies • Participate in quarterly learning, certifications, and knowledge exchange • Travel to meet customers and facilitate customer engagements • Leverage Cisco technology and an assigned AI Agent to improve productivity and achieve critical goals • Collaborate with teammates and share expertise across technology domains

🎯 Requirements

• US Citizenship is required • Deep Routing and Switching knowledge, including BGP, OSPF, VXLAN Fabric technologies, deployment, architectural, and operational knowledge • Five years or more of previous sales engineering experience • Willingness to travel to meet customers; travel is required • Baseline understanding of Security and Collaboration • Ability to discuss Zero Trust and Voice and Collaboration solutions and their interaction with campus, Datacenter, and WAN architectures • Understanding of APIs and their use in automation for operations improvements • Living in Washington DC, Maryland, or Northern Virginia is highly recommended • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Route, Switch, Security, and Datacenter deep-dive skills preferred • Experience with Federal Civilian Agencies preferred • Ability to lead a room preferred • Experience with very large, complex Enterprise Architectures preferred • CCIE in Route/Switch, Security, or Data Center preferred • Good working knowledge of cloud solutions preferred • Ability to lead teams during challenges while maintaining focus on customer success preferred
