📋 Description

• Lead a remote-first, cross-functional team of Software Development Engineers in Test responsible for the quality and reliability of Cribl products • Own quality strategy across Cribl products and communicate metrics for data-driven roadmap prioritization • Lead continuous improvement in test automation, CI stability, defect prevention, root-cause analysis, and escape-rate reduction • Optimize end-to-end pipelines for quality and velocity, removing bottlenecks for people and agentic workflows • Run failure analysis to close the testing gap with customer deployments • Partner with product management and engineering managers to implement quality standards from the start • Coach, mentor, and grow a remote-first team of test engineers focused on agentic workflows • Perform stand-by, on-call, or off-hours duties as needed

🎯 Requirements

• Hands-on experience establishing testing strategy and defining quality metrics for products deployed in SaaS and customer-managed environments • Thorough understanding of the SDLC and changes required for agentic development • Strong understanding of test architecture, automation, CI/CD, observability, release management, and root-cause analysis • Experience with AI-developed tests and workflows • BS CS/EE or equivalent practical experience • 10+ years of industry experience • 4+ years in a technical leadership role
