📋 Description

• Develop features integrating Cribl’s data stream processing engine with Splunk, Elastic Search, Kafka, AWS S3, Azure Blob Storage, and Google Cloud Storage • Research, provision, build, and configure third-party technologies, systems, and accounts • Design, develop, test, and maintain clear, concise, and robust code • Develop expertise in NodeJS and TypeScript, with occasional work involving C++ and Node internals • Create test plans, automated tests, and integration tests • Collaborate with engineers, product managers, UX designers, and business teams to translate specifications into code • Provide feedback on feature design and participate in code reviews • Participate in a weekly 24/7 support on-call rotation • Support the broader team beyond core job responsibilities • Contribute to internal and external communities, documentation, and product-related blogs • Perform stand-by, on-call, or off-hours duties

🎯 Requirements

• Demonstrated experience integrating with third party applications, libraries, and APIs • Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, operating systems, and distributed systems • Experience with using and developing REST APIs • Experience interacting with and building on cloud based platforms such as AWS, Azure, GCP, etc. • Experience with authorization and authentication standards such as Oauth2, OpenID Connect, LDAP and SAML is a plus • Comfort with significant research and discovery before coding begins • Demonstrated ability to build robust systems in the face of uncertainty • Experience with Agile processes and rapid iterative development • Strong sense of ownership with focus on high quality and high performing deliverables • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to explain complex technical topics to internal and external stakeholders in remote/distributed environments • Insatiable curiosity and willingness to learn new technologies and products • Willingness to participate in weekly 24/7 support on-call rotation and stand-by, on-call, or off-hours duties
