📋 Description

• Lead engineering teams building the consumer health experience on the Health100 platform • Identify, prioritize, shape, and execute complex platform initiatives • Design, oversee, and evolve scalable distributed systems, APIs, and AI-enabled platform capabilities • Recruit, mentor, and retain high-performing engineers • Foster innovation, continuous learning, and modern engineering and AI-assisted development practices • Lead engineering initiatives from strategy and prioritization through delivery on complex, high-visibility projects • Drive measurable business outcomes • Establish KPIs and OKRs, proactively mitigate risks, and ensure operational excellence • Promote secure, compliant, and responsible use of AI technologies • Partner with engineering, product, design, security, analytics, and business teams • Guide integration and validation of complex technology solutions • Leverage Java, distributed systems, cloud platforms, Generative AI, machine learning, and intelligent automation

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years of software engineering experience • 3+ years managing and growing high-performing engineering teams in Agile, cloud-native environments • Strong hands-on technical foundation in Java and microservices architecture • 5+ years of cloud development experience, with GCP preferred • Ability to guide architecture decisions and evaluate engineering tradeoffs • Proven ability to lead the full software delivery lifecycle from discovery and design through deployment and production operations at scale • Experience delivering modern platform capabilities and using AI-powered technologies, large language models, intelligent automation, or data-driven solutions • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience • High School diploma plus 4 years of relevant work experience as an alternative educational pathway • Experience in Healthcare, Retail, or Pharmacy domains preferred • Experience with Java, microservices, and end-to-end software delivery preferred • Experience with intelligent orchestration platforms, multi-agent workflows, or knowledge-driven AI systems preferred • Familiarity with LLM orchestration, Model Context Protocol, agentic workflows, vector search, RAG, and AI governance preferred • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes/Docker, observability, and DevOps practices preferred
