📋 Description

• Develop customer engagement strategies with Account Executives in the designated territory • Coach junior Solutions Architects and teams on use-case prioritization and building technical champions • Influence stakeholders at all levels through complex engagements with the wider cloud ecosystem and third-party applications • Act as an expert solutions architect and trusted advisor for data analytics architecture, design, and adoption of the Databricks Data Intelligence Platform • Contribute to technical community engagement by developing customer-facing collateral • Lead workshops, seminars, and meet-ups • Pursue continued development through technical specialization, industry vertical thought leadership, strategic customer vision, or people management tracks

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years of presales/customer-facing technical experience • Experience engaging in complex customer interactions and sales lifecycles in a technical pre-sales capacity • Ability to influence decision-makers and C-level executives through relationship development and team orchestration • Prior coding experience in a core programming language such as Python, Java, or Scala • Willingness to learn a base level of Spark • Hands-on expertise with complex proofs-of-concept and public cloud platforms • Ability to provide technical solutions for specialized customer needs and navigate a competitive landscape • Ability to travel up to 30% when needed • If access to export-controlled technology or source code is required, employment may depend on the employer's discretion regarding a U.S. government license
