📋 Description

• Translate customers’ goals into working software, including automated configurations, model definitions, and calculation APIs • Understand users’ needs and solve problems involving complex calculation engines in ETL pipelines, database design, and API and microservice design and engineering • Collaborate with subject matter experts to drive client success • Collaborate with front-end engineers on solution and API design • Perform software and data architecture and design • Develop complex software solutions using back-end technologies • Demonstrate and mentor software engineering best practices • Participate in code reviews • Develop configurations and automations for testing, infrastructure, and deployments

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience • 6+ years of software development experience in a professional and/or academic setting • Experience with Python, Ruby, JavaScript, or equivalent dynamic languages • Experience with C#, Java, C/C++, Typescript, or equivalent static languages • Experience with data engineering, web/mobile application development, or systems/security software development • Interest and ability to learn other coding languages as needed • Ability to write in English fluently and idiomatically • Experience with agile/scrum methodologies • Financial services industry experience • Experience with Redis, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or SQL Server • Experience with Airflow, Kafka, AWS, serverless/microservice architecture, TDD, BDD, NumPy/SciPy/Pandas, React, Angular, Vue.js, Node, or Ansible • This role is not eligible for Immigration Sponsorship
