📋 Description

• Provide technical support and product/part design recommendations to assigned customers, distributors, sales and application development groups, operations, quality, and complaint handling processes • Serve as technical lead for strategic Aerospace & Defense customer accounts and drive application development and business growth • Conduct training seminars and technical presentations for distributors, customers, conferences, and tradeshows • Lead or support customer and distributor technical programs for future commercialization qualifications • Lead or coordinate product evaluations, data-generation programs, and laboratory-designed functional testing • Develop expertise in end-use applications to support customers • Prepare and contribute to product literature, sales tools, and case stories • Write and publish technical papers and articles • Provide input to Aerospace & Defense business and marketing strategy • Compile, document, and communicate value-in-use information and competitive intelligence • Provide technical support to global and regional Centers of Excellence programs • Lead or contribute to R&D programs for new products and applications • Participate in New Part Commercialization by translating customer requirements into part drawings, quotes, and timely delivery of new part orders

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Materials Science, or a related technical field required • Master's degree preferred • 10+ years of aerospace engineering or related technical experience • Demonstrated expertise in Aerospace & Defense applications • Strong industry relationships and an established professional network • Proven experience in composite manufacturing, application development, and highly engineered materials • Ability to collaborate across engineering, manufacturing, quality, R&D, supply chain, sales, and marketing • Ability to lead complex technical programs, manage multiple priorities, and deliver results on schedule • Excellent communication and presentation skills for conveying technical concepts to customers, industry partners, and executive stakeholders • Proven customer-facing experience building and maintaining long-term strategic relationships • Strong project management skills, including planning, milestone tracking, and execution • Ability to translate customer and application requirements into material selection criteria, test methods, and technical development plans • Ability to travel up to 40% • Ability to access export-controlled technology, technical data, or defense services as authorized under US regulation or through an export authorization approved by DuPont
