📋 Description

• Design and implement new US payments gateway functionality in Go, including payment flows, scheme-specific behaviours, error handling, validation, operational requirements, and automated integration tests • Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and other functions to refine requirements and validate implementation choices • Contribute to technical design proposals, implementation plans, and problem-solving within the Form3 platform architecture • Support resilience, performance, disaster recovery, failure-mode testing, operational readiness, monitoring, alerting, telemetry, and observability • Support release preparation, final validation, production deployment, and post-launch issue resolution • Produce and maintain technical documentation, deployment guidance, operational procedures, and runbooks • Ensure work aligns with Form3 engineering standards, security expectations, and critical payments infrastructure standards

🎯 Requirements

• Deep understanding of designing and building distributed systems • Ability to work on complex, high-performance, robust, and critical software • Familiarity with cloud and containerisation technologies • Familiarity with test automation tools and CI/CD pipelines • Interest in owning projects end-to-end and supporting production launches • Appreciation of clean code and software engineering best practices • Experience with Go and a “right tool for the job” mentality • Strong communication skills and willingness to share knowledge and collaborate • Contractors must be based in Canada, Ontario only
