📋 Description

• Influence the roadmap and personal career objectives • Work with the team to deliver, iterate, and improve new features • Drive projects from ideation through operations after customer delivery • Contribute to open-source projects beyond the team’s direct scope • Design, build, operate, and maintain critical systems • Own system reliability, performance, and availability • Participate in on-call rotations and own operated services • Mentor and support team members • Participate in design discussions and collaborate with the team • Learn the cloud product, customer needs, and large distributed-system codebase

🎯 Requirements

• Candidates must be located in Canada or the United States • Solid experience with Go, Rust, Python, or similar programming languages • Demonstrated knowledge of and experience working with large distributed systems • Experience delivering projects from requirements gathering and ideation through product delivery • Experience developing software that runs in the Cloud or experience with systems engineering • Experience writing clean, robust, performant, and maintainable software • Independent attitude and good communication skills • Familiarity with Grafana and Prometheus in operational roles is a bonus • Familiarity with on-call, operations/SRE tasks, or infrastructure as code is a bonus
