📋 Description

• Design and implement AI-enabled test automation frameworks using modern tools such as Cursor and Playwright • Generate test cases from requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria using AI capabilities • Build natural language-to-automation script generation solutions • Validate AI/GenAI-based features for correctness, safety, and reliability • Perform prompt-based validation and identify hallucinations, inconsistent outputs, and edge cases • Ensure data integrity and isolation in AI-driven workflows • Design and implement AI-driven testing solutions using prompt engineering, Skills, Cursor Rules, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation • Build and maintain scalable end-to-end automated testing frameworks across frontend UI, backend microservices, and data layers • Establish and optimize AI-based CI/CD pipelines for continuous model and integration-workflow validation • Implement production monitoring to track model performance, detect anomalies, and ensure reliability • Design AI-driven load and performance testing • Act as a bridge between Data Scientists, Software Engineers, and Product Managers • Drive alignment on quality goals, testing strategies, and release readiness • Analyze model drift, data inconsistencies, and system failures • Recommend architectural or data-driven improvements • Mentor QE team members • Support Granicus's mission of delivering cloud-based government technology solutions that connect governments and residents

🎯 Requirements

• 7–10 years of experience in QA or software testing • Proven experience in AI in testing, automation, and performance testing using AI agents and IDEs • Experience with AI IDEs or tools such as Copilot, Cursor, or similar • Strong hands-on experience with Playwright using TypeScript or JavaScript • Knowledge of automation design patterns, including Page Object Model and fixtures • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps • Proficiency with Git and version control workflows • Basic understanding of microservices architecture and cloud environments • Experience with JMeter or k6 • Understanding of response time, throughput, error rate, and concurrency metrics • Experience testing SaaS and web-based enterprise applications • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities • Clear and structured communication with cross-functional teams • Attention to detail and ownership mindset • Ability to balance quality with delivery timelines and achieve zero escaped defects • Ability to mentor QE team members • Responsible for preserving the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of company information assets • Responsible for ensuring employee and customer data privacy and completing required privacy training • No degree requirement stated; Granicus says it does not have degree requirements for most roles
