📋 Description

• Develop and execute formal test plans for quality software applications • Participate in test planning, writing test cases/scripts, and test execution • Document defects and assist in their resolution • Track QA metrics, including defects, defect counts, test results, and test status • Work with cross-functional teams to understand business and technical requirements for new functionality • Partner with engineering and product early in the design process to question decisions and surface risks before development • Assist the QA Manager in evolving QA processes, standards, and guidelines using industry-accepted best practices

🎯 Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in software development with a testing-function role • Experience planning, preparing, and executing test plans, including project release testing • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Ability to identify, analyze, and assist in resolving defects • Experience in an agile software development environment with cross-functional geographically distributed teams • Experience with JIRA, Confluence, and SharePoint • Experience testing RESTful Web Services and JSON messages • Ability to write and execute SQL queries to retrieve, validate, and troubleshoot test-support data • Knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and Software Quality Assurance best practices • Bachelor's degree • Cover letter and resume required • Successful background check required for new employees • Preferred: Experience in EdTech • Preferred: Experience with test automation frameworks and tools • Preferred: Experience with accessibility testing
