📋 Description

• Build, design, implement and refine AWS GovCloud and Azure GCC-H architectures • Provide prescriptive guidance across network and security • Collaborate with functional business units to drive business solutions and direction • Lead early scoping definition and identify critical dependencies and requirements • Identify and mitigate technological and operational risks • Develop and document architecture for integration and implementation of cloud systems • Determine sizing, capacity planning and infrastructure, network and security requirements in the cloud • Guide successful completion of major programs or initiatives and potentially function in a project leadership role • Interact with senior external personnel on significant technical matters requiring coordination between organizations • Provide customer support for IaaS and SaaS consumers • Participate in technology strategy, vision, requirements and solutions for enterprise cloud initiatives • Apply a security-first approach to cloud development and minimize risk while meeting CMMC, NIST SP 800-171 and SOX compliance requirements • Research and develop Proofs of Concept for new technologies • Optimize architecture and operations by evaluating systems, performance, issues, cost and compliance data • Monitor emerging cloud technologies and provide recommendations to management and customers • Work in an Agile SDLC and collaborate with remote teams to implement Continuous Delivery of tooling and automation scripts

🎯 Requirements

• 2 years relevant experience with Bachelors in computer engineering or related field; 0 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 6 years relevant experience • Previous experience and proficiency working with remote teams • Previous experience and proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) concepts (Terraform) • Previous experience and proficiency with automated configuration management and compliance (Ansible Automation Platform, Salt) • Previous experience and proficiency with AWS and Azure cloud service providers • Previous experience and proficiency with at least one scripting/programming language (Bash, PowerShell, Python) • Previous experience and proficiency with version control systems (Git) • Previous experience and proficiency with Windows Server, RHEL and Ubuntu • Previous experience working with an agile team • Previous experience working with Identity Management Systems (Active Directory, Okta, Entra, IAM) • Previous experience with containerization (Docker, Podman) • Previous experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) tooling • Understanding of NIST 800-171 & CMMC • Certifications in Azure and/or AWS are a plus • In-depth knowledge of Atlassian suite considered a plus (Jira, Confluence) • In-depth knowledge of Gitlab considered a plus • In-depth knowledge of cloud networking • Experience with Palo Alto NGFW • Experience with Splunk SIEM • Experience with Tenable • Experience with container orchestration systems also a plus (Kubernetes) • Security clearance: None
