📋 Description

• Provide comprehensive daily operational support to the Human Resources Business Partner team • Execute HR policies and procedures and initiate resource planning • Maintain interdepartmental communication and support HRBP client groups • Support HR transactions including document management, HRIS entry, recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and special projects • Research and compile HR information and metrics to support HR strategy • Act as the first point of contact for employee policy-related queries • Respond to internal and external customer inquiries and provide updates • Coordinate employee onboarding with Talent Acquisition, the HR Business Partner, and hiring manager • Maintain compliance with employment laws, regulations, and best practices • Maintain knowledge of HR trends, regulatory changes, best practices, and technologies • Ensure employee files and records are stored appropriately • Resolve employee issues promptly to enhance satisfaction • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources Management, or related field, required • Two (2) to four (4) years’ experience as a Human Resources professional required • Equivalent combination of education and experience accepted • PHR/SHRM-CP preferred • Experience providing service to a remote workforce preferred • Experience in higher education preferred • Experience working in a technology-driven enterprise preferred • Working knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and human resource principles, practices, and processes • Ability to organize documents and workflow • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills • Ability to maintain relationships with faculty, staff, and leadership • Effective oral and written communication skills • Excellent organizational and time management skills; ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple deadlines and changing priorities • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook • Intermediate knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software related to Human Resources Information Systems • No travel required
