📋 Description

• Serve as the subject matter expert for hundreds of outbound files across different layouts and formats • Analyze vendor file layouts field by field and determine vendor and client data needs • Meet with vendors and clients to clarify requirements and facilitate ongoing communication • Write detailed business requirements • Meet with programmers to ensure understanding of file requirements • Create test plans and testing scenarios based on client and vendor criteria • Review test files field by field and document testing results • Collaborate with programmers to resolve issues and achieve required outcomes • Track progress and ensure due dates are met • Provide final user sign-off before files are deployed to production • Review and audit first production files for turnover accuracy • Independently create and run SQL queries using NextStepp and compare data files • Research questions and issues, determine solutions, provide explanations, or request programming changes • Collaborate with internal departments, team members, external vendors, and customers • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business or equivalent experience • Minimum of 4 years prior experience in the insurance or TPA industry in a technical role working with EDI files and/or analyzing and testing electronic data files • Understanding of EDI terminology and file structures • Ability to read, understand, and interpret file specifications • Experience with SQL and compare tools like UltraEdit • Proven problem solving, troubleshooting, and analytical skills • Ability to determine solutions and resolve issues with minimal supervision • Ability to work collaboratively with team members, other Luminare Health areas, and external vendors • Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize workload in a frequently interrupted environment • Proficient with Excel and Word • Strong written, verbal, collaboration, and interpersonal communication skills • Sound decision-making skills • Customer service focused • Remote residence within the continental United States, excluding California, New York, Alaska, and Hawaii
