📋 Description

• Lead the front-end modernization of Lyric’s healthcare payment integrity platform • Design and build modular, testable, accessible React applications • Own the experience layer, including design systems, responsive layouts, WCAG accessibility, client-side performance, and error/loading states • Partner with UX on complex customer workflows involving dense tables, long-running operations, and permissioning • Shape and extend RESTful, versioned .NET APIs • Add endpoints, refactor service boundaries, tighten contracts, and replace legacy .NET code • Write and tune SQL queries, address indexing and transactional correctness, and contribute to Kafka/event-driven data pipelines • Use AI agents for component migrations, framework upgrades, API extraction, test scaffolding, and documentation while preventing regressions • Build reusable AI-assisted engineering playbooks, migration checklists, review heuristics, and definition-of-done standards • Implement security, privacy, least privilege, auditability, testing, CI guardrails, structured logging, and observability • Review code and contribute to architectural discussions • Partner with analysts, stakeholders, designers, and engineers to turn business problems into working software • Help create delivery plans and navigate trade-offs with pragmatic milestones

🎯 Requirements

• Applicants must already be legally authorized to work in the U.S. • Visa sponsorship, sponsorship assumption, and other immigration support are not available • 5+ years building and shipping production systems with real users • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in fast-moving teams • Deep front-end experience with React/Next.js, or comparable Angular depth with willingness to lead in React • Experience building and maintaining non-trivial applications involving component architecture, state management, routing, forms, accessibility, and performance • Strong modern web platform fundamentals: TypeScript, HTML, CSS, browser performance, accessibility, unit/component/end-to-end testing, and build/release tooling • Solid working experience with C# and modern .NET (Core and beyond) • Comfortable with SQL, including schema design, query writing/tuning, and database performance diagnosis • API design experience with versioning, authentication, reliability, and testing practices • Cloud experience with AWS and/or Azure; AWS particularly relevant • Daily use of AI coding tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, Codex, or similar for multi-file refactors, migrations, test generation, and review workflows • Preferred: significant front-end modernization experience • Preferred: deep design system or component library experience • Preferred: legacy ASP.NET/.NET Framework modernization experience • Preferred: distributed systems tooling such as Kafka, event-driven architectures, or Postgres alongside SQL Server • Preferred: agent-friendly engineering practices, CI guardrails, feature flags, or canary deployments • Preferred: background in regulated domains such as healthcare, fintech, or payments
