📋 Description

• Act as the primary operational expert for Kubernetes • Collaborate directly with internal engineering teams to diagnose and resolve complex platform issues • Analyze recurring operational problems to identify patterns and drive improvements in processes, tooling, and systems • Partner with EKS technical leads to run experiments in development environments to determine workload resource requirements • Develop and implement automation for Kubernetes and EKS workload configurations • Define and standardize alerts and notifications for Kubernetes workloads • Create an alert taxonomy based on compute patterns such as web services, event processing, and API servers • Participate in defining and documenting Kubernetes and EKS platform standards • Contribute to governance and best practices • Improve platform reliability, efficiency, and operability through continuous improvement initiatives

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps engineering, with a strong focus on Kubernetes and EKS operations • Proven hands-on experience operating production Kubernetes environments • Strong background in diagnosing and resolving complex operational issues in distributed systems • Experience driving automation, standardization, and operational improvements • Solid understanding of observability, alerting, and monitoring for Kubernetes workloads • Experience working closely with engineering teams as an operational and DevOps partner • Strong communication skills and ability to influence platform practices across teams • English proficiency at B2 level or higher • Experience working on internal platforms serving multiple engineering teams • Background in large-scale, fault-tolerant infrastructure environments • Experience improving governance and standards for Kubernetes platforms
