📋 Description

• Support and develop engineers through feedback, coaching, context-setting, expectation-setting, and barrier removal • Own the engineering roadmap for Developer Infrastructure • Manage projects within the Developer Infrastructure roadmap • Set priorities with the Infrastructure leadership team • Establish delivery sequence and drive day-to-day execution • Own the reliability of Developer Infrastructure and ensure teams have the focus, tools, and processes to maintain uptime • Partner with engineering leaders to drive cross-team process changes and effective scaling • Maintain a healthy team culture with engineering leadership and the People team • Build understanding of Chronosphere’s infrastructure, product cloud technology, developer needs, roadmap, customers, and constraints • Manage direct reports and execution planning • Establish roadmap priorities and delivery plans with leadership • Drive hiring and day-to-day execution • Support production delivery and reliable operation of developer infrastructure

🎯 Requirements

• Empathy and understanding of how to empower and support engineers • High level of organization and ability to manage multiple projects from concept through delivery and production support • Ability to iterate from high-level requirements to execution plans • Track record of delivering multiple complex concurrent projects • Extensive experience with full developer toolchains in a modern SDLC • Experience with CI/CD technologies, build automation and pipelines, and automated testing • Current knowledge of Developer Infrastructure best practices and emerging technologies • Familiarity with public cloud infrastructure supporting multi-tenant SaaS products • Understanding of how high reliability requirements affect product building, validation, release, and operation • Strong background partnering with recruiting, making hiring decisions, closing hires, and building diverse and inclusive teams • Ability to attract, close, and retain engineers at multiple levels
