📋 Description

• Own the DevOps technical roadmap and vision and align it with business goals • Define reusable infrastructure-as-code modules, pipeline templates, reference architectures, and engineering standards • Own platform reliability, security posture, delivery velocity, SLIs, SLOs, and error budgets • Represent the DevOps practice in client discovery and pre-sales conversations, estimate infrastructure workstreams, and advise client leadership • Interview and assess DevOps candidates and help shape team structure and capability development • Design and implement cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure, and GCP • Architect and operate Kubernetes and managed container platforms • Define landing zones, account or subscription structures, and network topologies • Own CI/CD strategy, pipeline architecture, automation-first delivery, and GitOps workflows • Define observability strategy across monitoring, logging, and tracing • Lead incident response, on-call practices, post-incident reviews, capacity planning, scalability, disaster recovery, backups, and multi-region planning • Embed DevSecOps security standards, support compliance initiatives, and drive cloud cost optimization and FinOps practices • Mentor and coach engineers, review infrastructure code and pipeline changes, and provide technical leadership • Drive continuous improvement, track DORA metrics, facilitate lessons-learned meetings, and stay current with industry practices

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field preferred • 8+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, platform, or infrastructure engineering • 2+ years leading teams or owning the DevOps function for multiple products or clients • Extensive hands-on expertise with at least two major cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP) and working knowledge of the third • Deep experience with infrastructure as code and configuration management, including Terraform and Ansible • Proficiency in scripting and automation with Python, Bash, or Go • Solid grounding in cloud security, IAM, networking, and compliance-driven environments • Experience mentoring and developing engineering teams • Excellent communication skills for technical and business audiences • Experience with agile development methodologies • Collaborative, client-facing mindset and comfort advising senior client stakeholders • Relevant technology certifications are a plus, including AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, or CKA certifications
