📋 Description

• Advise and support the design, documentation, development, modification, testing, installation, implementation, and support of new or existing application software • Follow or lead Agile methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban, XP, and hybrid approaches • Analyze and refine system requirements • Translate system requirements into application prototypes • Plan and design systems architecture and application architecture • Determine output media and formats • Design user and system interfaces • Work with customers to test applications • Assure software and systems quality and functionality • Integrate hardware and software components • Write, review, and maintain program documentation • Evaluate application software technologies including containerization, Kubernetes, infrastructure as code, configuration as code, microservices, APIs, CI/CD, and SDLC automation • Ensure rigorous application of information security and cybersecurity policies, principles, and practices • Interface with Program Office, Enterprise, and Staff Level Support • Perform tasks and oversee junior and mid-level personnel

🎯 Requirements

• U.S. Citizen • Advanced Degree (MA/MS) or Doctorate from an ABET accredited program in Computer Science, Information Technology, or another Engineering Discipline and 10 years of experience, including 5 years in the DoW; OR BA/BS Degree from an ABET accredited program in the same fields and 12 years of experience, including 5 years in the DoW; OR 15 years of directly related experience with proper certifications, including 8 years in the DoW • Expert-level knowledge and recognized ability in the technical/professional field • Ability to perform tasks and oversee junior and mid-level personnel • Advanced knowledge of the technical/professional discipline and comprehensive understanding of associated standards, procedures, and practices • Must have and maintain a T3/Secret security clearance • Preferred knowledge and experience with Agile principles, methodologies, Kanban, Scrum, Jira, Confluence, Jenkins, Bitbucket, GitLab, CheckMarx, SonarQube, and Zephyr • Preferred experience with AWS, Azure, or OCI cloud platforms • Preferred knowledge of cloud technologies including elasticity, scalability, IaC, IaaS/PaaS/SaaS, containers, Kubernetes, and serverless/Lambda • Preferred certifications including AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Cloud Practitioner or Microsoft Azure equivalent, Oracle/OCI certifications, CompTIA Security+ CE, and Agile certifications • Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8-5 • Travel: 0-10% • Employment contingent upon successful completion of a comprehensive background check • Position is approved for remote hire outside the state of Ohio
