📋 Description

• Build enterprise-grade web applications • Design automated microservices • Manage multi-step financial validation engines using Python and Django • Design, build, and maintain containerized microservices and backend web applications using Python and Django REST Framework • Develop dynamic workflow engines and state machines for complex approval processes, billing calculations, and financial validation logic • Model, optimize, and maintain relational database schemas for data integrity and auditability • Implement background task processing and scheduling for dynamic data ingestion and third-party API integrations • Implement role-based access control and secure authentication and authorization mechanisms • Maintain development environment parity using containerization • Support automated building, testing, and deployment pipelines through CI/CD processes • Assist with support and maintenance of complementary software applications across different technology stacks as needed

🎯 Requirements

• DoW Secret Clearance required; only candidates who possess a DoW Clearance will be considered • Security+ Continuing Education (CE) [CompTIA] certification required • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or another technically related area required • Experience with Python • Experience with Django • Experience with SQL • Experience with Docker/Docker Compose • Preferred: Git and GitLab • Preferred: AWS GovCloud, including S3, EC2, RDS, EBS, IAM, CloudWatch, and VPC • Preferred: Ansible • Preferred: Ruby on Rails • Preferred: PHP and Laravel • Preferred: Linux • Quiet, distraction-free workspace with adequate internet for remote work • Full attention and availability during working hours • Schedule aligned with coworkers’ and clients’ core business hours • Must disclose current or future outside employment and obtain written approval • Must not solicit or conduct outside business during Valiant Solutions’ or clients’ core business hours • Ability to sit or stand at a desk for prolonged periods and consistently operate a computer • Frequent electronic, phone, and in-person communication • Occasionally lift and/or move moderate amounts of weight, typically less than 20 pounds
