Description

• Define and drive the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for our platform team, which owns the Management Layer of our SaaS data orchestration product, Astro. • Engage deeply with our most strategic customers and customer facing teams to understand use cases and pain points, using evidence from that engagement to define a product roadmap for your team. • Develop detailed use-cases and product requirements, working closely with the engineering team through the design, development, and release processes. • Support product marketing and sales enablement to craft customer-focused messaging and content.

Requirements

• Executional orientation, allowing you to reach milestones on the product vision you set for a team of 8-10 software engineers. • Strong understanding of SaaS product development for highly technical users. • Experience being customer facing, and the ability to synthesize information from customers, product data, and industry trends into an actionable, data-driven roadmap. • Experience building developer tooling, either as an engineer or product manager. • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally with technical and non-technical stakeholders. • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with a track record of turning data into insights and action. • 3+ years of experience as product manager. • An informed POV on application platforms, alerting, billing and/or authentication/authorization. • Familiarity with Apache Airflow or other modern data tools. • Interest or passion for open source projects and communities. • A technical background, either in your education or as a former Software Engineer.
