• Serve as the first line of contact for prospects and leads at D-Wave • Connect interested parties with knowledgeable experts to drive success in their business • Identify sales opportunities within targeted company verticals • Assist with inbound and outbound demand generation campaigns and programs within logistics or manufacturing sector • Suggest and implement improvements in building sales pipeline and outbound prospecting strategy • Report on sales metrics and suggest improvements • Research and discover methods to increase customer engagement • Manage customer relationships within Salesforce • Promote operational excellence through pipeline management, accurate forecasting, and data-driven improvements • Support sales representatives with quoting and other tasks as needed • Learn from sales representatives and potentially take on introductory sales account management tasks • Collaborate with the go-to-market function to grow the logistics or manufacturing business
• 3-5 years of proven work experience as a B2B Sales Development Rep in technology industry targeting logistics or manufacturing sector • Degree in Business, Computer Science, or relevant discipline preferred • Strong understanding of logistics or manufacturing verticals • Hands-on experience with sales operations, prospecting, meeting setting, and driving sales of technology and professional services • Knowledge of Sales process from lead generation to close, ideally in SaaS, Cloud, or similar environment • Experience with Salesforce.com a plus • Strong attention to detail, analytical, and organizational skills • Strong listening and communication skills, written and verbal • 10% travel may be required on occasion
