Description

• Extensive use of QuickBooks, Nexonia timekeeping, and Excel in a DCAA compliant environment • Setting up projects and employees in all systems and assigning appropriate CLINS/LCATS, hours, rates to each employee • Creating, submitting contract invoices into Wide Area Workflow and government submission platforms • Monitoring A/R reports and collections • Validating and entering A/P for various contracts and operations • Supporting bi-monthly payroll process and employee reimbursements • Assisting with monthly book closing and financial reconciliation • Preparing financial reports and supporting audit requirements • Supporting RFP, contract process and end-of-year tax documentation • Supporting special projects as requested

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting • 5-8 years of full cycle accounting experience with at least 4 in government contract accounting • Recent and prior work experience in full-cycle government contract accounting • Must be a U.S. Citizen and Clearable • Comprehensive understanding of GAAP and federal contract types • Extreme attention to detail, positive attitude, and ability to collaborate
