Description

• Responsible for strategic direction and achieving revenue targets in the territory sales plan • Develop and implement a clear, value-oriented go-to-market strategy for federal customers • Create and manage continuous sales pipeline for Canadian Government and Public Sector customers • Generate and manage new business opportunities while nurturing existing accounts • Support customer requirements evaluation and recommendation for improvements • Manage government customer relationships and key accounts • Forecast sales opportunities accurately and monitor competitive activities • Develop and educate customers on new solutions and market trends • Regularly attend conferences, tradeshows, and workshops • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support key activities

Requirements

• University degree or equivalent in Technical Areas • MBA or equivalent considered an asset • 7+ years’ technical sales experience in Government markets • 3+ years in sales management roles • Sales experience in earth observation, remote sensing, GIS technologies or similar • Experience in launching a go-to-market strategy • Strong technical, business, and analytical acumen • Target-driven with strong interpersonal skills • Ability to lead, influence, and negotiate at senior levels • Customer-oriented with a willingness to learn • Excellent decision-making and time management skills • Excellent presentation and communication skills • Fluent in spoken and written English • Ability and willingness to travel frequently (50% or more) • HRIS system experience • Experience with Professional Development Plans • Ability to cope with the pressure of a target-driven environment • Advanced planning and management knowledge
