• Lead key aspects of the public funding lifecycle, including opportunity identification, concept development, and proposal development • Identify, screen, track, filter, and prioritize Calls for Proposals relevant to Asia Pacific priorities • Develop early-stage write-ups of priority conservation projects • Maintain visibility of funding opportunities, timelines, and pipeline progression across the region • Participate on internal selection panels and lead prioritization of selected proposals • Draft, edit, and integrate public funding proposal contributions from multiple stakeholders • Assemble proposal components, annexes, donor templates, supporting documentation, and compliance elements • Prepare concept notes, expressions of interest, and full proposals • Contribute to public funding capability through guidance, tools, training, templates, and quality standards • Support regional public funding reporting and maintain the Asia Pacific public funding pipeline in BBCRM • Prepare internal updates, summaries, and briefings for regional and global stakeholders • Coordinate collaboration and information flow across country, regional, global, business unit, thematic, finance, grants, legal, and communications teams • Contribute to proposal development and early-stage project activities across multiple concurrent processes • Provide proposal writing training to staff as needed • Undertake international travel within Asia Pacific and globally as required • May supervise administrative staff, volunteers, interns, or temporary staff • Serve as a team leader for assigned projects and coordinate the work of others
• Bachelor’s degree and 4 years related experience or equivalent combination • Fluency in English • Experience presenting to or communicating with business, government, legislative staff, or program leadership • Experience designing, implementing, and directing multiple complex projects • Experience ensuring program accountability • Communications experience preparing and presenting project proposals • Experience developing written communications • Experience working with corporate or NGO partners and government agencies • Familiarity with public funding mechanisms and bilateral/multilateral funder processes • Experience supporting project design, concept development, and proposal packaging • Experience developing theories of transformational change, result chains, and related methodologies • Understanding of conservation, climate, or sustainable development issues in Asia Pacific • Experience writing successful public funding proposals • Experience coordinating with people in different locations and cultures • Ability to collaborate across functions and countries in a global organization • Knowledge and application of current and evolving trends in public funding • Experience researching divergent information sources and compiling cohesive reports • Ability to meet The Nature Conservancy’s background screening requirements
