Description

• As a regional sales manager for independent manufacturer representatives, your primary responsibility is to oversee and manage the sales activities of manufacturer representatives within a specific geographical region and manage assigned key accounts • Responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies, setting sales targets, monitoring sales performance, providing training and support to manufacturer representatives, and building relationships with key customers. This position reports the Vice President of Sales • Oversee a team of manufacturer representatives, providing leadership, guidance, and support to ensure they achieve their sales targets • Develop sales plans and strategies for your region to achieve sales targets and objectives • Analyze market trends, customer preferences, and competitor activities to identify opportunities and develop effective sales strategies • Prepare and conduct joint sales calls as well as sales presentations to customers and prospects with the manufacturer representatives • Build and maintain relationships with assigned key direct accounts in your region to identify business opportunities, foster loyalty, and promote growth of the company's products and services • Track and analyze sales manufacturers’ performance metrics and KPIs to assess the effectiveness of sales strategies and tactics • Provide CRM reports on sales performance and sales forecasts • Ensure the manufacturers’ representatives comply with company policies, procedures, ethical and legal requirements • Stay updated with product knowledge and industry trends to effectively promote and sell products and services • Participate in industry and prospect events to help support positive market awareness and increase sales • Manage and maintain overall responsibility for communicating project milestones • Discover new potential customers and new market opportunities • Deliver powerful presentations that communicate the uniqueness of Panelmatic’s value proposition • Provide reports and updates to VP of Sales on sales performance, market trends, and customer feedback as needed

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Engineering or related field required • Minimum of five years of sales experience in the electrical manufacturing industry required • Minimum of three years of experience managing a sales rep team required • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas required • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills required • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills required • Three or more years of experience in utilizing sales CRMs required • Ability to work independently and remotely required • Ability and willingness to travel up to 60% of the time required • Ability to pass physical, drug, driving, and background check required • Alignment with company core values required • Two or more years of sales experience in the utility relay panel manufacturing industry preferred • Two or more years of experience in the relay control house manufacturing preferred • Two or more years of experience working in the utility market preferred • Two or more years of experience working with independent sales representatives preferred
