Description

• We’re looking for an experienced sales professional to join the Smartcat team who is responsible for building relationships, driving revenue and closing business at large enterprises. This is a hunter role, building pipeline and developing a territory mostly through outbound activities (80/20) and requires a high-energy, very organized person with advanced communication skills. Your mission is to identify, source, and close ideal customer prospects to pursue inbound leads and self-sourced leads for your pipeline, while also partnering closely with cross-functional stakeholders to achieve team goals. Your success is measured by contribution to Smartcat’s industry fastest revenue growth rate of 200–400% yearly.

Requirements

• 5+ years of sales experience within the translation industry or 2+ years of experience in SaaS sales (preferred) selling into executives of large enterprises with significant translation spend • Leverage your localization experience to communicate our mission of transforming the global translation industry • Build and manage a strong pipeline of prospective customers through outbound sales and territory development • Strong track record of actively prospecting into new business opportunities • Solid sales fundamentals, business & sales acumen • Drive complex deals from initial contact, all the way through to close within a fast paced sales environment • Connect and consult with inbound leads and marketing generated opportunities. • Prepare and present software demos with prospects and guide them through the buying process • Leverage sales automation tools to track sales activities • Sell to key decision makers (Directors and VPs) • Excellent communication skills to navigate colleague, customer, and partner interactions • An easy-going personality and a high tolerance for different cultures.
