📋 Description

• Own the developer journey from first touch through signup, installation, first success, and continued engagement • Own the Developer Hub as the main conversion surface • Build capture-to-activation flows for leads from conferences, meetups, hackathons, webinars, and social channels • Create QR codes, event-specific landing pages, follow-up sequences, and starter kits • Partner with Developer Relations so events, talks, and social moments have clear calls to action, tracking, and post-event nurture plans • Convert social engagement, launches, threads, demos, and community moments into measurable traffic and signups • Design and run lifecycle programs across onboarding, activation, adoption, re-engagement, and expansion using email, in-product messaging, and community channels • Define product activation and build programs around milestones such as a first API call, successful build, or integration • Segment messaging by behavior, role, language, technology stack, and source • Own the Developer Hub strategy, messaging, and conversion across homepage, product, community, and events pages • Run continuous testing across copy, calls to action, page structure, and signup flows • Partner with Design, Engineering, and Documentation to improve time-to-first-value • Write or direct tutorials, quickstarts, sample applications, changelogs, and email content • Build reporting from first touch through activation and retention • Share findings to help shape the roadmap and messaging • Audit the funnel, launch event follow-up and onboarding programs, and improve signup-to-activation, event-to-user, and Developer Hub conversion

🎯 Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in developer marketing, lifecycle or CRM marketing, or growth marketing for a technical or developer-facing product • Proven experience building lifecycle programs that improved activation and retention, with measurable results • Hands-on experience with marketing automation and lifecycle tools such as Customer.io, HubSpot, Braze, or Iterable • Experience with product analytics tools such as Amplitude, Mixpanel, or PostHog • Experience owning or substantially improving website conversion performance, including A/B testing • Strong writing skills and ability to create useful, credible developer-focused content • Comfort working with engineers and developer advocates • Familiarity with APIs, CLIs, SDKs, and documentation; ability to try the product independently • Ability to work independently and communicate clearly in a remote, async-friendly team • Preferred experience with product-led growth, free-to-paid conversion, open source adoption, event and community programs, SQL, HTML, CSS, scripting, SEO, docs-led growth, or developer communities such as GitHub, Discord, Reddit, Hacker News, X, or LinkedIn • Must already be legally authorized to work in the United States or Canada; 1Password does not offer work authorization, relocation assistance, or visa sponsorship/transferring
