📋 Description

• Lead consulting engagements and partner with client stakeholders to evaluate, design, and modernize complex software and infrastructure architectures • Act as Engagement & Technical Lead for small, high-performing consulting teams • Assign tasks, review work output, synthesize findings into unified deliverables, and keep engagements on scope and schedule • Lead architectural discoveries, scalability evaluations, technical debt evaluations, and infrastructure assessments • Assess Azure and hybrid environments • Serve as a trusted technical advisor to client leadership and engineering teams • Synthesize actionable modernization roadmaps • Work in agile, cross-functional teams alongside clients

🎯 Requirements

• Proven experience leading technical workstreams and small consulting teams • Deep experience evaluating and designing distributed software architectures, high-throughput telemetry/data pipelines, microservices, API gateways, and message-driven systems • Proven ability to identify architectural and infrastructure bottlenecks and evaluate readiness for exponential growth • Hands-on expertise with Microsoft Azure, including App Gateways, VNet topology, load balancers, compute, and security • Experience with on-premises/colocation virtualization platforms: Linux, Proxmox, VMware, and KVM • Ability to analyze multi-stack codebases and system topologies for architectural couplings, fragile integration points, and structural risks • Experience authoring executive-level technical reports, modernization roadmaps, and architecture/topology diagrams using C4 model, Visio, or Lucidchart • Working knowledge of Infrastructure as Code: Terraform, Bicep, and ARM templates • Working knowledge of Docker and modern CI/CD pipelines including Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, and GitLab CI • Excellent written and spoken English • Experience facilitating SME discovery sessions, managing client dynamics and executive expectations, and delivering readouts to C-level stakeholders • Ability to mentor technical analysts and engineers and ensure deliverable quality control • Ability to translate engineering risks into business impacts and prioritize remediation and investments • Highly organized, proactive, resilient, and able to navigate ambiguity and tight, time-boxed schedules
