📋 Description

• Define technical solutions to business problems and contribute to a scalable architectural vision • Develop and ship working code using Kotlin microservices, Postgres, React, and some Ruby on Rails • Deploy frequently using CircleCI and Spinnaker for CI/CD • Gather customer feedback to inform iterations • Build technical competency alongside experienced colleagues • Monitor services, diagnose root causes, troubleshoot errors, and deploy fixes • Take ownership of team-managed services and align development with AlphaSights Engineering strategy • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and the wider business • Mentor more junior engineers

🎯 Requirements

• Degree in a STEM subject is probably expected, but alternative experience routes are accepted • 5+ years of experience working at a similar level in a mature Engineering team • Technical expertise in at least one programming language • Kotlin experience; some Ruby experience is used by the team • Ideally, experience with relational databases • Demonstrable impact in previous roles • Must be a current UK resident • Visa sponsorship is unavailable
