📋 Description

• Maintain high site availability and the best customer experience • Resolve complex technical problems • Create and improve operational procedures • Facilitate communication during incidents • Participate in active incidents • Develop in-house tooling and leverage AI agentic workflows • Provide frontline technical support for cloud infrastructure, databases, and network systems • Analyze monitoring data and act on patterns, outliers, and anomalies • Partner with development teams to reduce issue detection and resolution time • Manage incident bridges with on-call support groups and executives during outages • Report incident cases through automation tools and ticket tracking systems • Research, proof, and author technical documentation • Create and maintain AI agentic workflow context • Assist with automation and tool development to reduce toil • Participate independently and collaboratively in team meetings and projects • Work some holidays in a 24x7x365 Command Center operation

🎯 Requirements

• 4+ years in a continual, high-availability enterprise production environment • 4+ years managing and monitoring AWS technologies and services with tools such as New Relic or AWS Application Signals • 2+ years in an enterprise-level NOC or Command Center environment • 2+ years developing AI agentic workflows • Knowledge of prompt engineering, context management, and AI SDLC best practices • 4+ years in scripting, automation, and software development • Knowledge of programming languages such as Python, Java, Bash, and PowerShell • Logical thought processes through new technologies, systems, concepts, and procedures • Ability to use reports and data to improve operational results • Ability to document issues using defined processes • Understanding of TCP/IP LAN/WAN networking technologies and troubleshooting techniques • Understanding of virtualization technologies • Knowledge of hardware- or software-based firewalls, load balancers, intrusion detection systems, and proxy servers • Knowledge of relational and NoSQL database query languages, including MSSQL, MySQL, Cassandra, and CouchDB • Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Harness, Chef, or Puppet • Availability to cover other shifts, including days, weekends, and holidays • Ability to work the 10 pm–6 am MST Monday–Thursday night shift • Background check required for job offers
