📋 Description

• Lead the design and architecture of OutSystems applications using the 4-Layer Canvas and ODC domain-driven design patterns • Identify non-functional requirements, integration needs, and common style guides across OutSystems applications • Assess applications for performance, architecture quality, and best-practice adherence; implement improvements • Develop complex OutSystems web and mobile applications in O11 and ODC environments • Build and maintain REST/SOAP integrations with core banking systems, trading platforms, CRM solutions, and third-party financial services APIs • Extend OutSystems with C#/.NET when platform-native capabilities are insufficient • Implement responsive UI/UX using OutSystems UI frameworks, Angular, or React • Conduct structured code reviews and provide feedback on architecture and secure coding standards • Mentor junior and mid-level developers and support OutSystems certification journeys • Lead technical grooming sessions, design reviews, and solution walkthroughs • Act as the OutSystems subject-matter expert for platform queries, escalations, and architectural decisions • Manage deployments via LifeTime and ODC Portal, including environment promotion, hotfixes, and rollbacks • Collaborate with DevOps/DevSecOps teams on CI/CD integration and infrastructure-as-code practices • Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, memory issues, and integration failures • Participate in release planning, sprint ceremonies, and capacity estimation • Support multi-team or dual-shore delivery environments when applicable

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related STEM discipline • 7+ years of overall software development experience, with at least 5 years of hands-on OutSystems development (O11 required) • Proficiency in .NET/C#, SQL Server (or equivalent RDBMS), JavaScript, HTML, and CSS • Experience delivering OutSystems applications in a financial services, banking, or similarly regulated environment • Deep command of Service Studio, Integration Studio, LifeTime (O11), ODC Studio, and ODC Portal • Experience designing and building enterprise REST/SOAP integrations and debugging API-driven workflows within OutSystems • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and version control (Git or equivalent) • Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile/Scrum methodology, Jira, Azure DevOps, and Confluence • Experience integrating OutSystems with external systems • Ability to independently manage a workload with multiple priorities • OutSystems Professional Developer or Architecture Specialist certification, or commitment to achieve within 6 months of hire (preferred) • Experience with ODC domain modeling, external libraries, ODC Portal deployment, and cloud-native architecture patterns (preferred) • Proficiency in Angular 10+, React, or TypeScript (preferred) • Experience integrating OutSystems with core banking platforms, payment gateways, clearing systems, or financial data APIs (preferred) • Exposure to OWASP Top 10 remediation and penetration testing response (preferred) • Prior experience in multi-team, dual-shore, or accelerated delivery environments (preferred) • Familiarity with AI Mentor Studio, Agent Builder / Agent Workbench, and ODC/Service Studio AI-assisted features (preferred)
