📋 Description

• Lead cross-functional teams to design, implement, and optimize Banner Health’s multi-cloud infrastructure across Azure, AWS, and OCI • Help lead the long-term cloud strategy, ensuring scalability, security, resiliency, and cost-effectiveness • Lead cloud adoption and migration, enhance cloud maturity, improve performance, implement best practices, and drive cloud-based innovation • Advise IT partners and business units to ensure successful solution delivery on cloud platforms • Provide strategic and technical oversight for multi-cloud environments and cloud architecture and governance initiatives • Design, develop, and oversee platform engineering service offerings • Provide thought leadership in cloud-native technologies, DevOps, platform engineering, automation, and observability • Implement and maintain secure cloud connectivity using AWS Direct Connect, Azure ExpressRoute, Oracle FastConnect, or Google Cloud Interconnect • Integrate cloud solutions with on-premises infrastructure • Manage disaster recovery and response plans for cloud outages, security events, and incidents • Maintain documentation, architecture diagrams, disaster recovery plans, and perform gap analysis • Develop proof of concepts and innovative production service offerings • Design and implement automation tools for efficient cloud-service deployment • Lead and mentor cloud engineers

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent level of education and experience • At least 15 years of software engineering, digital engineering and application modernization experience • Minimum of 5 years of experience designing and developing cloud and microservices at scale • Demonstrable experience optimizing Kubernetes-deployed workloads on cloud platforms • Experience with AI development tools • Experience leading peers in the delivery of enterprise solutions • Experience with platform operating models and product-driven digital engineering • Hands-on experience designing and scaling digital applications on cloud platforms, preferably AWS and Azure • Experience with large-scale cloud migrations and modernization initiatives • Professional-level certifications on public cloud platforms preferred • Experience in Healthcare Information Technology strongly desired • Deep knowledge of at least one cloud provider among Google, AWS, and Azure, plus working knowledge of other clouds • Experience with cloud cost optimization • Knowledge of relevant coding, scripting, software development, database, CI/CD, container, observability, security, and work-management tools and platforms • Must live in one of the listed states: AL, AK, AR, AZ, CA, CO, FL, GA, IA, ID, IN, KS, KY, LA, MD, MI, MN, MO, MS, NC, ND, NE, NH, NM, NV, NY, OH, OK, OR, PA, SC, TN, TX, UT, VA, WA, WI, WV, or WY
