📋 Description

• Develop and support enterprise-level J2EE-based web applications • Integrate different backend systems as a hands-on Java backend developer • Work closely with clients, architects, and frontend developers to define integrations with client backend systems • Determine implementation details and realize backend integration implementations • Work within onshore and offshore development management models • Participate in Agile and Waterfall project development methodologies • Support continuous integration and continuous development processes • Deploy applications to enterprise application servers • Provide sizing and scalability recommendations • Solve connectivity and deployment issues • Migrate SOAP-based web services to REST services

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum of 8+ years development experience within Java Web/Enterprise projects • Primary skills: Java 1.8, Spring Boot, Microservices, React/Angular JS, and cloud development experience • Hands-on experience in enterprise-level J2EE web application development and support • Hands-on experience in Spring, Spring Boot, and cloud technologies • Hands-on experience in Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF) • Experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Development (CI/CD) • Experience managing onshore and offshore development models • Excellent communication skills • Experience with Agile and Waterfall project development methodologies • Experience migrating SOAP-based web services to REST services • Understanding of design patterns • Experience with Java EE and Maven • Experience with application servers such as Jetty, Tomcat, JBoss, or WebLogic • Experience with Spring frameworks and open-source Java libraries • Experience with Spring Security and SSO solutions • Experience with REST/SOAP web services • Experience with Oracle, MySQL, and DB2 database applications, SQL, JDBC, and ORM tools • Experience providing sizing and scalability recommendations and resolving connectivity and deployment issues • Experience deploying to application servers in enterprise environments • Experience using Agile development methodologies
