📋 Description

• Analyze, develop, and enhance analytical and operational data solutions and platforms • Lead metric and technical design and documentation efforts with operational and IT teams • Lead multiple medium- to large-scale projects and requests using project management tools and methodologies • Translate business requirements into validated data solutions, including analysis and validation from raw source through final solution • Provide thorough and accurate documentation according to industry standards • Provide production support for ETL/ELT and data solutions, including problem analysis, design, implementation, testing, data models, integrations, and reports • Perform data solutions administration, including training, on-call support, and participation in upgrades and changes • Manage organizational change using standard processes and tools and support adoption of required changes • Monitor healthcare, EHR, ERP, cloud, SQL, BI technology, and industry trends • Mentor junior team members and provide expertise in enterprise data-solution analysis and development • Perform independent analysis of clinical, financial, ERP, and operational metrics • Manage multiple small- to medium-sized projects and tasks • Create documentation supporting education and presentation efforts • Travel outside the workplace as required

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent knowledge • Typically 2-4 years of experience in a healthcare or comparable setting working with report, data, or analytics development • Experience with enterprise EHR, Rev Cycle, and/or ERP applications, depending on role • Experience with data/BI tools such as Business Objects, Epic Slicer Dicer, Power BI, Tableau, etc. • Experience with database content creation, including tables, views, and stored procedures • Experience with Oracle, SQL Server, DB2, or other traditional database platforms • Experience with cloud data development platforms such as Snowflake, Fabric/Synapse, Redshift, or BigQuery • Significant SQL, Python, Java, or other data manipulation, procedural, or scripting languages • Experience with ETL/ELT and data orchestration tools such as SSIS, ADF, DB2, Informatica, or DataStage • Healthcare knowledge, including EHR, Quality, or ERP data experience • Certification(s) may be required depending on position focus, or obtained within 6 months and maintained to vendor or department requirements • Epic-focused roles require Epic certification(s) in relevant Cogito/reporting applications • Workday-focused roles require Workday certification(s) in relevant Workday reporting applications • No sponsorship or transfer of visa • Must be based in an approved U.S. state; international remote work is not permitted • Effective communication with stakeholders and cross-functional teams • Experience in logical and physical database design, data modeling, complex queries, business intelligence and ETL tools, and change control methodology • Understanding of data visualization, data storytelling, EHR and ERP workflows and reporting • Proficiency with Microsoft products, EHR and ERP workflows and reporting, hardware and software systems • Understanding of software or data development lifecycle and process design
